Also, When the new part of the NPS study guide comes out in August. You will get that as well. I am asking $150.00 for the set. I do have a copy of the cd's but, they are copies. So, I can only charge for the cd's I used to copy them. For those it would be $15.00.

I just wondering since NPS updated for a new exam and updated NPS study kit will be released by the end of Sept only how can we be prepared for this exam? Is old study kit still good to pass new exam? What guys do you think? Is there anyone who is going to take new exam soon ?

I just decided to wait because the test is so expensive. I had the orange book when I was studying for my RRT but a coworker had the latest on so I borrowed it and it had covered more things than the orange book. It didn't stray too much from the old book but it was nice to be able to read the addage.

There are 3 girls at my work who just passed the new NPS by studying the old books.... They all said the did not really have any questions that they thought weren't covered.

I was thinking the same cause NBRC just can not change everything but some parts only..:) Time to study! :) But it is strange for me why Kettering guys need an additional month to revise it..hm...

I've visited local NPS seminar and studied notes from my neonatal class, did exams from NBRC and that's pretty much that's it. Vent settings questions were similar to from NBRC.You should know treatment for cardiac diseases, CF, Asthma,RSV,MAS,BPD,PIE,RDS basically all main diseases.HFOV/HFJV,iNo,OI.No CPR questions were on exam. That's all I remember.Hope it'll help.

P.S I think you can u use old kett nps.. I didnt see any significant changes..

They forgot to tell you that the new test includes alot of VAP questions and NO...I failed by a couple questions cause I didn't read up on that. everything else is straight forward.
