What do you enjoy most about being a route sales representative? What do you dislike the most? Is it challenging? Are there many opportunities to learn and advance? What keeps you at your job? |

I work for Krispy Kreme in Route Sales and enjoy the minimal supervision. Its not very challenging the commission is crap. I know a driver that has made the same base for 4 years. I'm looking for a new company to work for. It's a good job for those wanting to get into the Route Sales industry. The only thing that keeps me at me job is the fact that it will help me get another Route job when I find the right one. |

I am a Frito-lay route sales rep. I enjoy the independence of route work and the fact that i see my manager for less than 1 hour per week. I work a large route and i enjoy an above average commission check. the downside of Frito-Lay is that they have not increased the base pay for five years and turn a deaf ear when the subject is brought up (many times). I am reasonably happy with my choice of careers, but understand that this is not for everyone. The 4am start time can get very old. |

I work for nestle waters/deer park. The pay is fair and the workload is crazy. There formula is maximize their employee workload and then try to push the limit. luckily for me i have high self esteem and i'm not itimidated by these weak higher ups. For a new guy it's not worth the money. But i've been there a while and we are hourly and the vets like me get paid well. |
