on the rise drug and alcohol free is the best thing to ever happen to pro school bus drivers wages up up up all for a job most of us are commited to back when 3.00 was alot of money

I live in the Portland OR metro area and there are a lot of jobs here. I work with a district and we are hiring and have been for awhile. You need to start as a sub though. I subbed a year.

Contractors are hiring as well. Wages with them are ok to start but raises are not good, benefits are lousy, moral is lousy where I worked and a contant turn around because people leave and go to district.

I've done both now and would never go back to work for a contractor like First Student, unless it was to get licensed and leave.
