I am a designer in Milwaukee Wisconsin and I need someone to help me with my leather handbag business. I have more than I can handle.

I have commercial and home use machines and over 40 years experience in both home sewing and industrial sewing (factory work). I am making sports hats for women and coeds who follow their favorite teams. What equipment do I need to give them the professional look? Some have soft bills, some need plastic bills. Any advice is appreciated.

I have put together a group of unemployed or under-employed eperienced RV industrial sewers that I am trying to put to work. We have 5 heavy duty industrial machines ap present an are looking to add sergers and a zipper machine if needed. Robin - I'm just starting out, looking for seamstresses (I sew but don't have time). How do you hire someone to do piece work without them "stealing" your pattern or idea? Do you get them to sign a contract? If so what would it say? Anything you can tell me would be helpful.

I have designed several sport hats and want to come up with one or two more before I consider myself with enough variety. Then, I want professional samples made to show to possible investors and buyers. My preference, once this is complete, is to create a shop here in East Tennessee to employ women in need of employment...teach them if necessary. At this point I have only my home made samples and no equipment, etc. What do I need to send to you for professional samples: patterns and material, completed hats, all three?
