In NY with a TS clearance try the army base in upstate or contractors near the base. Please do not think in the mind of security companies but companies who provide services to the government or the basis. Check TSA website

get ur eight hour training and get licensed and let the person interviewing u know that u have the know how to work and keep going and keep looking dont stop if u dont get that one there are others that needs ur quaifcations cant spell but u know what i mean

the casino in the falls is hiring...idk how great of a job it is, but it is security... also i believe kelida health is hiring too...

i am currently in the us army active duty. i am set to ETS 24 sept 2011 and am looking for security jobs that will be avalible to start work right away after i get out. i have no training in this area but am more than happy to take the time to learn the profession and further myself and get ready for school to become police and criminal justice qualified.

if you want to become a police officer, why are you being a security guard first, with Military experience. I have 5 years in the Navy. if you are in the army you can get out and go right to the police academy.
