Oh yes, I recall being employed or under employed for Allied Barton / aka Allied Security a few years ago, Nashville, TN.
I watched this 1 day film & walla they asked me when I could go to work.
I was finger printed, no big deal, passed like a champ for unarmed.
Found out later I sure was glad I received previous gov't traing. Much better, kept me out of possible law suits.
Next I was told work flex/floater.
Never worked for any private security company before.
The lady from Prussia, PA. came & interviewed me.
She knew areas to ask about security, really nice lady.
I was assigned to many various job sites releiving officers, sergeants, etc., that is while all took vacations & personal time off.
I was promised 40 hours a week at the begining.
After all the officers & site supers got back on the job I was chopped to 10 to 12 hours instantly!
I was promised a lot of things but all I got afterwards was a line of b/s, SMOKE BLOWING!
I finally told <Edited by Host: Name Removed> if he didn't have any more than 10 to 20 hours a week I had to go.
They hired this certain indiviual that was a relative to a person / supervisor, not to state a name that worked 40 hours.
Put this individual on a post & didn't last 1 shift, think something like a couple of hours if that long.
Then I received a call wanting me to work that post because of it.
Like a fool I did.
I was told a lot of chit that did not pan out too well.
When I gave resigning notice, <Edited by Host: Name Removed> asked me if he ever got a supervisor opening would I come back? I recall stating, get the opening first then call me.
lol... never received that call...lol
I saw where there were several openings recently online so I called <Edited by Host: Name Removed> about this.
On the phone he stated he was not aloud to hired me back per:
Nashville supervisor authority. Not to mention a name...lol
GO FIGURE!
Yes I remember Allied Barton aka Allied security very well!

Yes, I agree with you. Allied Barton is not a honest company. I worked for them 21/2years. Was hurt on the site, did report it to late, never received Workmans Comp. Was a armed and unarmed Floating Capt. Plenty of hours, but no pay, they still owne me money today. When I moved, I drove 100 miles and more roundtrip, the pay was suppose to be the same, ha, when I got paid it was 2.00 $ less. Went to the office and talked to the Human Resource, District Manager, and the cheating Account Manager. They never paid me the difference. They talk a lot but think about them self a couple of times before you come. If you find another company try it, right know it is starting again and new companies are coming up. God Luck.
