Joey B. in Lynchburg, Virginia said: Wow, this is fun! I just got off a 12 hr. shift! Now you have peaked my intrest, let me recall from the back text I have read from years back. Mr. Jackson and Mr. Mongeon both have a job to do.( What ever that job might be,I don't realy know, and it don't really matter to me). A job that may or may not meat your approval, however they do there job to the best of there ability. It may make some employees happy and some, like you, not so much. However they go home every day to there families and lives. You on the other hand get on this webb site and JUDGE THEM,( As you say I have done to you) you don't know them, you know the job they have to do. But you do not know the men they are!!!! At all!! As for your other point!( What you put up with ) I do not really now what you might be putting up with!! You were there ALONE!! That really must have been hard. I think you and the general population have a problem!! Yes that is my OPINION, and spell it right, and every one has one, you are correct. Have a good night. You know I thought about what you said, Joey, Your right ERMC is a great co. to work for. Do you work for ERMC? Enjoy your job. I am too old for all of the drama on this web page, and the fighting between ERMC, and their Disgrunteled emplyoyees like me. You have been right all along. Enjoy. Have a good night. Oh yea tell Frank I said hi. |

Eddies comment was actually quite interesting to me. I wouldn't mind to have a battle wits with you sir. You see, it would appear, at least to me, that the senior officers of this company were sought out from the lowest rungs of society based on some of the real evidence that I have personally seen. The fact that you would comment on having drones fill security positions within your company seems quite befitting to the actual reality of it all. I have seen a lot of people comment on the topic of something dire happening because of the ignorant policies of this company. I for one, believe this has already happened. I have had several bad experiences on differing scales with this company, however, one stands out above all of them. In April of this year a woman committed suicide in the Macy's parking lot of Hickory Hollow Mall. This is no secret you can probably get the report with ease from the Nashville Police records. Whats interesting is the fact that there was a specific guard on duty that night. The director of the mall has tried several times to have this person fired for complete incompetence when it comes to doing his job. Not only was this guard incompetent, but also insubordinate to company policies and procedures. He did not do his job there at all. However, because(cont |

of the high cost of firing a person, I believe he was kept on board. That night a woman sat in the parking lot of Macy's alive for all of third shift until she finally shot herself in the head. This was in a car with the headlights on for most of the night. The tape from the CC cameras revealed that the officer never left dispatch to patrol the lots like he should have. He was instead seen reading a book all night and talking to himself. In my opinion her life could have possibly been saved if he was doing his job. The director of the mall spoke briefly about this with corporate office on to be told that the officer was not at fault. To blame him is to blame the company and not to make those accusations ever again. The officer is still to this day employed by ERMC and has been moved to another location due to hour cuts. ERMC refuses to fire this person. ...The way things are handled at this company Mr. Russell, I wouldn't be surprised to see you working at the local fast food joint sometime very soon. Who knows, perhaps this is your "swift wind" And I will be letting the family of the deceased know all of this information very soon. |

eddie russell: "ERMC can always find another drone to fill your spot. Be careful what you say, for a swift wind may come by and blow you away and you will never know what happened. If you can't be positive then don't comment." People! He actually let the cat out of the bag about how ERMC feels and thinks of its people! Like the rest of the family, this guy looks at you like a lower life form! JUST BECAUSE YOUR LAST NAME IS RUSSELL; YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO DIRECT PEOPLE NOT TO POST ON THIS BLOG. It's freedom of speech like you calling employees "drones." What an arrogant a**hole. |

Honestly, if this truly is Eddie Russell, he sure isn't doing anything good for his company coming on here saying such things. It's childish and incredibly unprofessional. Then again, you work long enough with this company and you'll realize that they are all childish and unprofessional. A woman DIED because of the poor work ethics of an employee, or rather she committed suicide in the middle of a parking lot with her lights on in full view without said officer even ATTEMPTING to do his job. He could have prevented it, or at least got someone there that could have. And what does this company do? They cover up the fact that he was sitting in Dispatch all night reading a book, and he STILL has a job? How is that even possible? The Truth, thank you for bringing that up here. Wish the company would have listened to your Director and terminated that guy's employment. They should have also contacted the family of the woman, and at least sent flowers and a card. |

I guess this event is why your people now have to take out trash, and clean toilets on third shift. I met Mr Russell about five years ago at the ERMC Christmas party. I commented to him about all his relatives in his company (with family, you always have drama)he explained that he was going to have to support the lot of them, so he may as well get a little work out of them. Wow. A company of misfits? Ya THINK??? ERMC: "Creating dangerous, nasty, and unsafe environments!" should be the mission statement instead of creating clean, safe, worry-free environments. I spewed coffee out of my nose when I read that this morning! AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE,THAT IS EDUCATED, REVIEW YOUR POSTS BEFORE YOU SEND THEM! |

I will be 52 on my next birthday. I have been doing security work since 1985. I know this information is insignificant to most of you who are out there. I will get to my point. As I stated I have been in the security field longer than most of you have been alive. The blatant lack of respect shown by people like Eddie Russell, and Joey B. Is what aggravates the hell out of me. I have most likely forgotten more about security, than you 2 pinheads will ever learn. According to Eddie, and Joey B. We are supposed to let ERMC treat their eployees anyway they want to, and the employees aren't allowed to say anything about it. I told the security directors at my former site, that I am not a yes man, if I don't like something I will tell them so. The directors respected that. ERMC don't like people who speak their minds, they terminate them. I am proof of that. |

Ya,I worked as a guard at a prison for many years until I got hurt. The robotic followers seem to think you have no right to complain or try to change things- you quit. Where would we be if all Americans simply removed their spine and laid back as the bosses wiped their shoes on our heads? How about the unions that withheld after the Great Depression? In the mid- 1800's the Irish were horribly discriminated against and had the worst jobs known to man; then came Afro-Americans, European Americans, Hispanic, Asian, and so on. How about female employees that have endured 'quid pro quo', sexual harrassment, as well as some men? Where in the history books does it say the good employee is the dutiful do- gooder without an independent thought in their heads? The more we question policies, procedures, and working conditions- the closer the business will get to a cooperative, highly productive, and progressive team. There are indeed some people out there that need the money, are not self confident, and are followers. God Bless them, for if they think their employer is applauding their blind allegiance and will reward their complicity- I have some swamp land they may like for a watering hole..... |

And what company on earth would let you conduct YOUR business on THEIR dime. They say there is no such thing as a stupid question, I think I just found one. Good luck to you! |

I worked at my site for 11 years and was terminated for ONE minor mistake, without going into great detail and jeopardizing my case.... had never been written up nor reprimanded, matter fact received 2 director of the year awards and several employee of the month awards. My attorneys and I have already spoken to several current and previous employees /directors that I had the oppurtunity to work with at several different sites.

Always be truthful when filling out apps--in this case whatever you were doing volunteer work, caring for family member, consulting. You also have option of not giving permission for prospective employer to not contact a previous employer. Not sure what your circumstances were but can pretty much guess frommy experiences. Remember this is a company that is family run and they have two sets of rules those for family & friends and those for all others. ERMC's reputation is known industry wide. enuf said |

CBL gets a percentage cut of every dime ERMC makes. They own ERMC. This is why ERMC doesn't go away. ERMC (or the wife of Emerson Russell at least) owns the company that makes the uniforms all the employees are required to buy (and they're not cheap) out of their first paychecks. Every time ERMC fires an employee and hires a new one, they make another uniform sale. You might think they like firing people? |
