I'm not a politician but to the best of what I know about politics, President Obama nor any other president in america can, per say, pass laws.
Laws have to be proposed , passed, etc. by the members of Congress.
Presidents can veto a bill but even then the bill can & or will go back to Congress & can possibly be over riden by x amount of votes there after.

Also I've been a union member. I was a member in about the toughest union of the times we reside in.
I for one had bad experiences with union representatives. One major time I worked it out myself.
What you pay unions to be a member, per week/per month the company pays the union same said amount on your behalf.
Unions might be okay to an extent but if you get a shop stewart( Your immediate representative), that kisses up to the upper supervision then you have a problem.
There are a few down falls to unions. You aren't joining a easy, " now I have it made deal"!
In short, unions are suppose to cover your butt if you are correct in doing your job but on the other hand, if you are doing all the wrong things your union rep. will not back you up.
Besides does your company you are employed by pay or will they actually pay a higher rate than what you are making already.
Meaning is the union fees you will be paying going to make up for all of yur alleged losses? Think about it!
You are dealing with a private security company here. Their contract prices arewhat you get paid by each pay period.
There are a lot of private security companies in operation through out the country.
Case @ hand, just say you vote in a union. All that company has to do is shut down their company name & sub contract all operations under a different name. Then you might just be out of a job especially when all people are replaced as employees of the original company name worked for!
Think about it! I will say... Good Luck either way you go!

Ever wonder why so many have come and gone well dont believe what they will tell you. Investigate yourself and you shall see.Just ask Ernie,Scott,Tom,Martin,Tom,Jose,Glenn,and Don all who gave there all and have fallen to the people you speak to every day. These people are not hard to find and can enlighten you.

1- Most of the complaints on here come from FORMER EMPLOYEES, so what weight will that really carry. You guys will just think that we are blowing off steam.

2- Will you really address the issues that are brought up by persons from this forum?

3- Will Emerson care to contact each and everyone that has a complaint and listen to what is said. Or will HR just go back and say that there was no substance to the complaints or sweep them under the rug.

4- There seems to be alot of employees, either former or current that are having issues with one individual in particular at ERMC.

All of us are waiting to see if you or Emerson will address this here on this forum or not. We would prefer to speak with Emerson directly and no one from HR, that way he knows what is exactly said.

I have two perfect jobs now and I am very lucky that the idiots that work at ERMC does not have any little idiots running around were I am at. Gentlemen, I will say that in reference to Mr. E. Miller's comments. I think that you have some valid complaints and concerns. I will not belittle you or question your intelligence, that is wrong. ERMC as a company either, doesnot care about these issues or chooses not to address them. Yes, I am a former employee with some concerns and issues. I have addressed those issues here and with the EEOC. Mr. E. Miller is also a former employee if I am not mistaken. Eddie, you have issues with ERMC and others there. Please don't belittle the former employees and current employees on this site. I don't believe that is your character, atleast not what I have been told.

When Keith set this site up it was to let those that are current employees of ERMC or former employees that were terminated address their issues and see if others were being dealt with the same way. No one expects ERMC to change overnight, but maybe they will take these concerns as, "food for thought" and make some changes or maybe they won't. We don't expect other companies to not employ ERMC, that would be a foolish thought, as we all know that the dollar is the bottom line in business. Companies will look to save on their operating cost and save where they can and that might mean contracting with ERMC for services.

Just in short honor the 1st amendment and allow those the right to free speech. Those of us that have served this great country expect no less.

I Think frank got something on emerson or someone elese in the company. Why elese wouldn`t they have the testicle foritude to adress these issues. Emerson I used to respect you. Address the issues,everyone at every site wants to hear from you.I remember the day I went to the coropate office and you hugged me and thanked me for the things I do. So where is that man now when we need him , or was that just to look good in front of others. I was always told you were a man of honor and had great respect for your employees . Then show it and do something about frank. One way or the other show us you care or that your just full of sh*t.

Mr. Tommy you have a good point. What does Frank have on Mr. Emerson? I have ask myself that a million times. How can all of us who have wrote on this forum SAYING THE SAME THING , BUT DIFFRENT STORIES , but nothing was ever said to Frank. I remember one time a officer employee at the mall in the mall office GOOGLE his name, "dont ask me why" and found that Frank had put that he was the president of corprate security for ERMC. Of course I thought this was a mistake and the office worker at the mall was seeing things. Guess?, what it was on there. But when I had mention this on this fourm, Someone read it and had it remove. Frank has something goooood. Frank is the undercover real Boss of ERMC. I am not trying to start something, "like something would get started" but damn Frank is good. I respect a man who is trying to make "HONEST MONEY FOR HIS FAMILY" but not off the backs of hard working employees. I remember when I worked at the mall I was advised by a ERMC person to always ask Frank for any and everything. She also stated that Frank ran the show. At first I did not understand why she said that. But now I do.

As a former ERMC employee that moved on to better things, I can not only confirm that Rodney Jackson is a racist and a bully, but I can also add that he's a gutless coward, as well. He's quick to bark hateful, hypocritical, and condescending things to entire groups of officers (such as while training them), but he doesn't even have the courage to back up his cowardly words with actions. He's the most UNprofessional, NON-leader I've ever encountered. That fat inarticulate slob not only lied on his resume, and lies about his past experience, but he's also a proven pederast and harasser. I find it absolutely hilarious that ERMC was duped into hiring him, which shows how well they research the people they hire (it took me about 24 hours to figure him out way back when I researched him). So former ERMC employees can take delight in knowing ERMC can't last as long as amateurs like him are in the upper ranks. Because he's the absolute PERFECT example of how NOT to be a leader, how NOT to be professional, and how NOT to get people's respect.

Well guys here is another little bit of info to add to the list, I will try to make this as short as possable. As you all know min. wage goes up to $7.25 per hour, in July. Our 200 asked Frank if our pay was going to be adjusted. Frank looked at 200 and said don't ask about a raise. But ERMC can spin $21,000.00 on installing a new check point system, and patrol wond, But not give us a single red cent. I have been with this A-- Hole Co. for almost 5 years. I am getting paid a whopping $7.60 per hour. Now I know Ken and others have said find another job. Well in Lynchburg and Bedford No One is hiring Except for the fast food industry. I am too Damned Old to be flipping Hamburgers.

Hmmmm - strange you quote "Honest Money for His Family". His wife divorced him last year and took the kids for good reason. There is no need to respect this guy for the way he has and is treating employees. He's playing you all for fools including ERMC. I used to work for him too and know his professional attributes are demeaning to employees. If you all continue to talk and take no action, then the chaos will continue with no repercussion to this person. Hey Tony in Bedford Virginia,

Take this as a warning; these corporate and other people are looking at this. They know who you are. It has been pretty funny how these people in this Blog know how to get things rolling, so quit taking the bait. At the very least you could have disguised your identity. Mr. Mongeon is in charge of a lot of people. It might get old to keep hearing your foul-mouthed excerpts. The only reason your not in trouble about what you have said so far is that the blog is so low on the radar of issues, that he doesn't have the time to deal with it. Some of the participants you are conversing with have been fired for good reason, mostly not but the smart ones have quit. With your background and willingness to work you should have found something else by now. I know times are tough but get out there and do the work. If you would put the effort you are putting into this silly Blog into a serious job search then I would have to believe you would have found something different seeing how almost any job would be better than that place.

The bad language needs to stop. Almost everyone uses profanity at some time or another but if we are going to continue with these posts it has got to be cleaned up a little, otherwise the people in charge of this site(hosts)will delete a bunch of posts and we will not get the joy of seeing the messages.

I will try to be a little nicer in the future. Sometimes it is hard being nice when people put you down like some have on this blog. I know Frank runs things, but everything I have said in the past and now is true. I have no reason to lie, how far will telling lies get me?

When I am at home on my computer and my time My comments or sometimes bad language has nothing to do with ERMC rules. We use this blog to vent, Because ERMC don't give a rats a--, about how we are treated.

Blogs have turned into a mixture of texting jargon and fast typing. Usually spelling has very little bearing on these type forums, plus it is a way to remain anonymous also. Lies weren't asked for, what good would that be? But perceptions tend to be skewed just a wee bit. Be safe, and that was a nice thing you said to Mr. Miller's family. It was nice to get the feedback from the survivor's. Most of us never got to meet Mr. Miller so it is definitely a lot harder to jump on that bandwagon. Mr. Mongeon has been present at most of the centers that are the participants here, so there is a lot more ammo.

To be honest with you we never see the newsletter at our mall, well at least I have not seen one in a couple of years, and as far as I can tell I guess we don't do anything at our mall to be honard for. Oh and Frederick I am not trying to ba smart with you I just asked a simple question.

I am getting paid a whopping $7.60 per hour. Now I know Ken and others have said find another job. Well in Lynchburg and Bedford No One is hiring Except for the fast food industry. I am too Damned Old to be flipping Hamburgers.

I understand the employment situation in your area of the state. Dont quit a job with out having one to go to. Your security director has complimented you on your job, so know that he appreciates your efforts and performance. So know that. I know that it is fustrating but please do restrain the cursing. I can appreciate your being upset, but dont give them ammo to have you kicked off the forum. Keith and I appreciate it.

I must say that maybe we have attracted someone's attention, within the ERMC group. Be Nice your comments about who is watching this forum is interesting and that it is low on the radar. Low things on the radar have a way of getting you. I can appreciate your comment on the cursing, but I can understand the frustration that Tony is experiencing.

Are you some one that is friends with Mr. Mongeon or what???????
Do tell. I can appreciate someone that will put their name on here and not a sudo name..........
