What are the top 3 traits or skills every security officer must have to excel?

Can you suggest any tips or insights to develop your security officer expertise?

1. Training. A Security Officer must be up to date with latest
regulations and laws concerning the Security field.

2. Customer Service. People skills is a must. Especially dealing
with children.

3. Good Image. A good image is everything. In some cases, You may be contracted by GSA.To the public, you are law enforcement.

4. Knowing what powers you have. Some Security Officers have
the power to detain a suspect, while some do not. To avoid
legal problems for you and your company, you must realized
that you are not law enforcement.
