Here's my dilemma: I am 30 supervision hours away from getting my LCSW or LCW. I moved to VA from a different state and I don't want to start a low-paying, rather crappy social service job just to get my LC, but all the good jobs are only hiring LC's! Plus, I don't want to start a job where I'm going to take off on my clients as soon as my LC becomes official. That wouldn't be fair to them.
Does anyone know of a non-community outreach (in other words, a social work job that doesn't require travel) position where they provide supervision? If I could get group supervision + individual (total 2 hours per week), I could have my LC in as little as 15 weeks!
Please help. :)
