I know with only a BA i will not make much more then the $33,000 i am making now. I am thinking of getting my MSW. What are the average salaries for a MSW nowadays in NJ?
Thank you to anyone who can offer some advice.
About 10 to 20,000 more (tops). Depends on which course you take.
If you stay in non-profit, you will be on the lower end of that. It's not much more.
I love how they give the title "social worker" to anyone that aids people. A Social Worker is a person with a graduate degree in Social Work (MSW). It is a licensed profession.
