What do you enjoy most about being a spanish interpreter? What do you dislike the most? Is it challenging? Are there many opportunities to learn and advance? What keeps you at your job? |

Helping people in need whether it'd be a defendant, or a witness, or a victim of crime. |

I particularly like calling a two-bit attorney "your honor" only to discover afterwards that the guy had kiddie-porn on his personal computer. Like that Judge Kline character from OC. Or watching one of these 'honorables' bring the book down on DUI drivers, then get arrested himself for DUI (only to receive a slap on the wrist) like the presiding judge at Westminster, CA. |

I really enjoy helping people, the linquistic challenge, and the constant learning in medical settings. Yeah, yeah, there are pompous, arrogant doctors. However, most folks (staff and patients) are appreciative. If I wanted to get rich, I'd sell drugs or something like that! |
