Is this a good school?? I am planning on attending feb 08

Hey Jason, My advise is stay away from GCC,Oceanside. Theres a few other ST schools. I went to the GCC. Bad experience with GCC.

I attended several years ago. There was mishandling of student fund that was given through state program. Teachers were only experience ST not professional teacher with ceredentials.

nope....20K + is too much. Gonna stick with my original plan of becoming a RAD TECH or even a nurse.
Mira Costa has a SURG TECH program and I think is only a couple of grand

Any suggestions on a school for surgical technology?

Used to teach there, as a clinical coordinator/ Mock surgery instructor. the program was mishandled and it was being run by someone in Las Vegas! Had to go

The bad part was they were not about success, they were about $$$ from students, because even if you did not finish you still paid on the loans that GCC got you into in the financial aid dept

GCC is being Closed........
besides GCC there are other schools.
ONE major problem being a ST.
There are NO JOBS. Every place wants experience
Schools JOBS placement is bunch of BS...
ST schools are cropping up left and right...

Most people who graduated as ST. Were unable to find a job. Ended up working at taco bell..
shoe store to pay their debt.
