work study program while attending school

i need to work while in school. i would like to work in the indlustry of s urgical tech. is there any such program or do you have any suggestions thank you michelle

I would go for a job in the hospital as a instrument tech or maybe even central supply while in school. As an instrument tech you would be cleaning and sterilizing instruments for surgery allowing you to learn the instruments and their care at the same time. This is very helpful in your experience as a surg tech. Good luck. I loved this work when I was in it.

I am getting ready to start a surgical tech program in Somerset, KY at SCC/ does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can expect to be paid out of school and how long do I have to wait to get certified and try for 1st Assistant.
