Hospital jobs

I been laid off work with the massive job layoffs that are happening I choose to take medical coding, medical terminology and other medical classes so that I can get at least entry level jobs in hospitals. I been applying for local hospitals and i keep getting we hired someone else but yet I still see the same job posted. How are people going to get experiance if a hospital wont hire you and give you a chance. Just wondering what are some of the best ways to get into a hospital? thanks
