I agree with MR. Andrew Basic kitchen and cooking skill are very important. With them 3 years is enough i think. |

I truly believe years don't mean a thing, the same way resumes for the most part don't either. A good 2 years is better and more valuable then 10 years of bad habits. It is not years that make a sushi chef, it is hard work, drive, being open to learning a million new things, all the time, and determination. Sushi is something you really have to want, if you expect to be good. Oh, but if you are trying to get a job, don't tell your interviewer that you have made loads of sushi at home, or at parties. A lot of people out there seem to think that means they have experience but what it really means is, your probably a fun friend but not a chef. :) |
