I actually tried Melaleuca and they just take your money and you have to order so much product per month. That's just not right. You need to find another business. Been there, tried that. There are those companies where only the people who came in at the start are making the money and the rest suffer. Its not right.

Keep in mind that the above referenced website is run by someone that is a scam artist himself, and is wanted by Federal Authorities. Are you going to take information from that site as credible information?

If you look at the many threads that are posted throughout this forum by the home based and MLM business bashers you'll notice that most are quoting and referencing mainly three different websites:

The first two sites mentioned above have no concrete facts that are given, only skewed surveys that are used to meet an agenda. The sites are part of Dr. Jon Taylor's agenda to show how he is a "self proclaimed" expert on all MLMs and home based businesses. Yah, right. The statistics on the sites are laughable, and information that would be impossible to accurately obtain. Again, the information, and I'm sure it isn't all the obtained information, is there to meet an agenda. If you look at what is written and noted in anything that Jon Taylor says he constantly references links to websites and quotes. The funny thing is is that what he always references is his own skewed work, on his own websites.

The third site referenced above, as I previously noted, is run by someone on the run from the law, someone that is wanted for fraud, among other things.

Are these three sites feasible reference sites for home based and/or MLM businesses? NOT AT ALL!!!!!

If you want legitimate information on a business research it for yourself. Check out what they offer, ask questions, check out the company or group websites, call the company directly, request information from the company, etc. Do your own homework. The worst thing you can do is listen to people that have an opinion and an agenda regarding these businesses, but have no experience with them, no research of their own, and no facts of their own. Bashing these businesses is their agenda, regardless of what they know or don't know.

Best of luck to anyone looking for an opportunity. There are some great opportunities out there. Don't believe that they are scams just because someone without the knowledge says so.

Melaleuca, Inc. has also received numerous awards, including the Torch Award from the Better Business Bureau. They would not have received those awards is they were scamming people. They are about switching stores to purchase products people are already buying somewhere. Now they have an option of using better quality, environmentally safe products, and instead of paying the big corporations, they are rewarding individuals who referred them to this company.

The only home based business that I know of that is profitable is for women and non taxable. That and e-bay.
