Hello, I am currently looking into becoming a travel agent (homebased). I need some advice as to what is the best course of action I should take in order to fulfill this goal. Any advice will be appreciated. I truly love the travel industry and this have been a long time coming. I just want to make sure I'm going about this the correct way.

Hi there, it's hard to find something to work from home cause I have done that. There are some companies that are not legit and they want money in front. Right now travel agencies are not hiring but you are welcome to work as an Independent Agent. Some other travel agencies require you to have a certificate, I received mine at TravelCampus.com. I work part time at home with a wonderful lady. Her website is www.HeretoServeTravel.com and you can email her and she will send you the application to start as an Independent Agent. I live in the Chicago area and she's on Ohio, just email her and she will sent the info.

I am looking to start in the travel industry. I am not sure where to go to get travel courses. I don't really want to pay much for them. I was also looking at hosts agencies. Can someone point me in the right direction? I am completely new. Looking for home-based work. thank you.
