PAM likes to have hiring freezes recently.
Paschall looks like they have changed to a miminum experience period.
Paschall is a very adverserial company with low miles--low pay, no home time, soft trailer floors, old trailers, equipment in disrepair, and maybe an occassional gender challenged codriver.

Whether you got your CDL in 1988, 1998 or 2008 there are Upshift and Downshift speed ranges should be the same for example on a 10 speed:

1st 2nd and 3rd gear depending whether under load - 0 to 10 mph
4th 10 to 15 mph
5th 15 to 20 mph
6th 20 to 25 mph
7th 25 to 35 mph
8th 35 to 45 mph
9th 45 to 55 mph
10th 55 mph +

Those Autoshift and Ultrashift truck transmissions are computer controlled utilizing mph speed ranges for the different gears; torque; and horsepower to autoshift/ultrashift a manual 10 speed transmission without double clutching. THEY ARE NOT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS!!!!!!!!Sometimes you may encounter a downhill 5 to 6 degree you will have to use your Jake Brake, controlled braking and manually downshift to keep your vehicle under control per speed limit signs `
