mothertrucker in Ogden, Utah said: This is my dillemma. My MVR is clean, I have no moving violations in 10 yrs of driving. The last company I was with a yr ago next month, fired me, and wrote on my DAC 3 non dot preventables, one listed twice as I failed to report a minor incident, even after I paid to have the dmg repaired myself (cost less than 100$) co listed it as unreported non reported Accident. Anyone know of any companies that would hire me, or even give a good driver a second chance? my preventables are minor, One was being towed at a shipper when I got stuck in ice, even w tire chains on my tractor, second was for a deer I hit, and third was for a cracked headlight from someone backing into my truck while I was parked and inside truckstop(I replaced the headlight and its housing) didnt report it, as I didnt see the truck who did it. I am on my last stand, and going to lose my liscence altogether june 1, due to not being able to make my child support payments... Have already lost my house, my car, and my hope. Just need a second chance. Anybody have any Ideas, leads, opinions, options...advice??? (and getting a local job is impossible when you dont have a home or physical address)
Believe it or not, there are small family owned trucking companies that still dont use dac because they dont want to put out any more extra money than the have to. IN the fix you're in right now, that would be the best way to go.I dont know if they hire drivers out of Utah but give Parrish Trucking in Freeburg,Illinois a call.

I rolled one back in 1997.I didnt get any tickets for it but when I decided to sign on with different companies, they wouldnt let it pass until 3 years have gone by.

my friend the last I heard the dac is used on those with 3 years or more driving this as bad as it seems will most likely clear up in 3 to 5 years off your abstract why did you jump the curb and no tickets means you are not a DOT reportable like a roll over like me
your employer might give you a second chance good luck and drive safe above all don't give up if driving is what you want to do

How long ago did this happen? When u say you drive van for this small company,do you mean a 53 ft van or a 4 wheeler?I don't see a broken mirror as not getting hired, that's very minor. You may have to get trained again since you don't have any OTR solo exp. With your next trainer ,don't take the blame for something he did and if he does want you to take the blame, tell your company.Trainers like that should'nt even be training.

If your right out of trucking school,no one will hire you with out exp..That's what I found out after I got my CDL A.So I went on the road for 14 months and now I'm home looking for a local job..It will be easier for u to just jump on one of these big trucking companies and bite th ebullet for one year. Then start looking for something closer to home.good luck !

I will consider negative DAC hits along with past criminal back ground. I'm more focus on your present character, its all about your attitude.

looking to hire skilled drivers with a professional attitude and desire to make money the right way!!!!!!

No location preference-will hire out of state drivers !!
