ive been looking but they seem too all say that you at least have too be 22?

The trucken school I attended you had to be 18 but to drive over the road I think its 22 years of age but most wont hire till youre 23.I spose they figure the older you are the more mature u r.

INSURANCE companies set the standards despite what trucking companies state.
Many companies will not consider anyone under 23 where some state 25 and above.
Age does not mean maturity as there are many people that demonstrate maturity in their teens as well as those that have yet to demonstrate ANY maturity in their 40s and above.

I've read a few years back where some states were allowing people at 18 to become drivers YET they had to ride or team(?) with someone over 23 or 25 for a few years.
