Loma Linda University Sonography Program

Does any one here know anything about the Sonography program that Loma Linda University offers? How difficult is it to get into and if there is a waiting list? I am considering applying and was hoping for any input. Thanks in advance, Heather

I do not know about the Loma Linda Univ. program; however, there is an on-line Sonography program available. The website is www.academyofultrasound.com. This school offers an 18 month course. I suggest, atleast, taking a look to see if this is an option.

Hello! I just got into the program for this upcoming year. You can get the answers to a lot of your questions at their site: www.llu.edu/llu/sahp/sonography/. There is no wait list, but you also at least have to have an AS. I have a bachelors. I keep hearing it's competitive, but I think, really, that how hard it is to get into really depends on the quality of your application. You need to met all the requirements with a superior GPA, have strong recommendations, write a good personal statement, and have a successful interview. I met a lot of people at the interview that didn't make it in.
