Has anyone taken the Adult Echo exam for ARDMS. I have several types of study materials but most were made before the test changed in April. Any recommondations on what to study? |

Study everything you can. I just passed a month ago and studied the Feigenbaum book, DeWitt book, Terry Reynolds. The Feigenbaum book is excellent because of the CD that comes with it. It has hundreds of echo videos that accompanies the book. I also had a simulated test CD from Pegasus that was made by Terry Reynolds. The exam has a lot of echo video to interpret, so use video in addition to reading when studying. Make sure you know your hemodynamics, Doppler, and heart walls + what artery feeds which heart wall. |
