It doesn't matter what modality you go into. If you enter the program, if have to take all courses involved in Ultrasound. There are times when you might have to do vascular during an OB exam. There is alot more involved than just imaging babies. You have to take alot of measurements and show different views of the baby or babies to show if any abnormalities. If you are unsure, visit a Radiology Dept. at your local hospital or at an OB office and observe for a day and see if this is what you really want to do.

I agree with you "sassy." I would suggest learning BOTH General and Vascular ultrasound; especially, if you have the opportunity. This would make you more marketable to a potential employer. A lot of employers are looking for, some requiring, dual-registered candidates.
