Would not Pedof be the stronger signal then CW ? as continous to me is continous so all signals would come. I am looking this up (but company is coming) have to hurry so I called one of my coworkers who some of the doctors go to..yes they do. She told me it would be Pedof. I will look this up in book later to give a reference to if it is Pedof or CW. Very good question. I just gave her the question as it was stated which of the three had the strongest signal.

ill get back to you on that but my tutor said CW.

Many of these came out on my test. Identifying the arteries. Know all your artery anatomy. Todds book is excellent for that. Ive reveiwed the book and I think its pretty much all you need for the test, both Science and Echo.

They inject you with a dye called Adenosene (Most common) and take pictures of your heart then they speed your HR up and look for arrythmias and ST depressions which may indicate a Blockage.

One question was: after given Adenosene and patients BP drops, heart rate goes up, WHAT DRUG is given to bring patient around to normal ?

Marfans Syndrome is on every test, they try to confuse you with Barlows Syndrome also known as MVP. Also know Dressler Syndrome: is a secondary form of pericarditis that occurs in the setting of injury to the heart or the pericardium. in other words caused by an MI.

Temporal peak (TP) is the greatest intensity found in a pulse.

Temporal average (TA) includes the "dead" time between pulses. It is the lowest value.

All we need to do is take our time and focus onthe questions not the answers. the answer is there but the question is the tricky part. ive been reading questions back and forth and have noticed that the answer lies in the question. Just take your time and focus. Dont let anything distract you.

Think of success and triumph....Hold that thought.

Hey Mark, don't forget me. I started with the two questions the other day.lol The two physics questions I had but forgot the answers to on the day of the test no-less were knowing that SPTP is the highest and SATA is the lowest. Also a few I remember was, What contrast is used in NUC ? and A pt getting a stress test loses rapid blood pressure, what position should you put them in ? the answer is either trendelenberg or reverse-trendelenberg. And I believe the question about Harmonics was in regards to a still picture showing an E-prime & A-prime tissue doppler tracing asking what one would do to clean-up the picture. I had a question about wall scoring and I believe it was (1) normal ! Hope this helps & keep the questions coming.

i think reverse trendelenberg is wrong for this one
i think the answer is trendelenberg or 45 degree angle

Thanks for putting these question together. It will help alot. Regarding the question, A pt getting a stress test loses rapid blood pressure, what position should you put them in ? Either trendelenberg or reverse-trendelenberg . I checked with a nurse for the right answer and it is Trendelenberg (feet higher than head). Also adjusting the Harmonics clears up the picture they show. There are many short loops that are shown. I remember seeing a hypertrophic LV and another one showing MVP and yet another one showing a VSD.

The question didn't give trendlengerg as an option so i believe the 45 degree angle is right for the way the test ask it
