I personally graduated from modern technology in jan. 2008 for Ultrasound. The program is compacted and very intense. We lost a few students in our class along the way that couldn't hack it. I loved the clinicals- the material-everything. I got offered a 30+ p/h full-time job in portland, or at OHSU and worked there up to this May. I am about to sit for my ARDMS ABD and OB- I passed my physics already. Overall the school gave me a great experience. |

if you have a college degree you don't have to wait a year to take the ARDMS, Modern Tech is being sued right now for class action. There is another small school that offers Ultra sound in Santa Ana, ATI College I heard they are pretty good and the tuition is more affordable. |

I've been an ultrasound tech for about six years now, and at one point I also taught at modern tech in fountain valley. For your own benefit, it is better to attend a CAAHEP accredited school such as loma linda university, cypress college, or orange coast. Many hospitals will only hire graduates of a CAAHEP accredited school. |

So Modern Tech isn't CAAHEP accredited? I am very interested in attending there. I have a friend that is currently attending there and he said it's not easy. |

i just graduated there from the ultrasound program. you are going to have a very hard time when your done. only one person in our class got a job because they were lucky. you will not be able to take the ardms and no one will hire you without it. so unless you know someone in the medical field who will give u a job i suggest you run the other way. also the school is being sued because of this they dont tell the students its close to impossible to find a job dont let them fool you sure everyone is really nice and i loved my teachers but once your done your pretty much screwed. |

Really so whats the tuition?? And how much did financial aid help you with? I actually do have someone close to me that's in the medical field so I'm sure he'd help me out. |
