I am very interested in being an ultrasound technician and have been researching it for awhile.

I think I have decided to go to Mountain State University for their online ultrasound program. I would like to hear from actual students or graduates who have attended their program and what they think of it.

I would like to know the difference between the mountain state university program and the institute of ultrasound diagnostic in mobile AL. Mountain state leads to an associates and Institute of ultrasound diagnostics leads to a certificate. Both allow to sit for the exam. Will this make a difference in the work field? The programs are similar to one another.

I think there was someone who posted here as a former student of IUD in Mobile.
She said it was a great school. I think as long as you pass your boards to become certified you're good to go.

I looked into IUD also, but decided against it because you have to actually be on campus for the first week (or two) of school in Alabama. I will be living in Idaho, so this won't work for me personally. If you can attend the orientation, this school looked good by the information packet they sent me.

I think you have to be there the first 3 weeks and the last 2 weeks. I talked to them 3 weeks ago.
