Google is worthless when it comes to actually figuring details out about a specific topic. If you are an ultrasound technician or would have any information about becoming one i would really appreciate it if you would be willing in me emailing you some questions. thanks. |

I don't want to give out my email but I'll answer any questions you have. And we are technologist or sonographers. |

you have to go to a program. And some states are requiring all health care professionals to have atleast an AS degee so if possible go to a program offering a degree. There are some online programs... I dont know how that would work ( i personaly would not allow an online student into my site for clinical purposes). It would be very difficult to find a job that scans pelvics only. I would say cardiac would be the best bet if you are only wanting to look at one structure all day. |

let me elaborate a bit! There are three main categories of US- general (which includes abdominal, gyn/ob, small parts). Vascular ( all venous and arterial thought the body). And echo which is the heart. With my experience- in a day I would do one gyn, 3 ob, 4 abd, 4 small parts. So unless you worked for an obgyn I'd would be hard to have the population to do all pelvics all day long. Hope this helps |
