Hi everyone, I am a recent graduate of a CAAHEP echocardiogaphy program. I currently hold my BLS, ACLS, CCT certifications and have passed the SPI physics registry exam. I am scheduled to sit for the adult echo exam in a few weeks. There seems to be a shortage of echo jobs in this area. If they do exist, they want 1 year experience and RDCS certification. Anyone know of an echo position in the Ohio, Michigan, Indiana area? I am willing to take a job that is 3 to 4 hours away if it is full-time and may consider relocating if necessary. I have a rich background in dealing with the public, very good working with people. I have hands on clinical scanning experience. |

Good luck getting a job in Ohio. The job field is saturated here with registered sonographers. Many of the new grads have to move out of state to get anything that isn't per diem. |
