When the question mentions the image obtained in longitudinal scan, automatically fetal position going to be either a tranverse maternal right or transverse maternal left.

If the image obtained is tranverse, its either cephalic or breech.

Dont focus on the mom. Focus on the baby. Literally try to be the baby and position yourself. Its tough at first but you'll eventually get it

HI,
With your explanations about finding fetal position which is one or even two of question on ARDMS exam, I could find out in transverse paln, fetal position is Cephalic or Breech.
Unfortunately I can not underestand in Sono image which shows most of times fetal abdomen , which one is it?
Could you please give me a key point for getting the right diagnose?
I appreciated in advance for who can help me.
Thank You

Hello everyone,
I took OB/GYN exam in October and unfortunately Faild. I bought Esp workbook and Quiz cards and decided to try it again.
Do you think reading ESP work book,Quiz cards and also six weeks X- zone is enough for passing this exam?
Any advise would be appreciated.
Thank You

Look at the stomach and the liver. If the liver is anterior in the screen closest to the transducer that fetus is cephalic if it were breech the stomach would be close to the transduceer or anterior in the screen i am talking about a fetus which is cephalic with the fetal spine to the left of the mother or the screen. If the fetus is longitudinal to the Right, meaning the fetus spine is potioned to the rigth of the screen or mother you will find the stomach anterior or closest to the transducer. I hope it help!!!!
