I'm studying for my OB-GYN boards and I'm looking to buy a used ESP OB-GYN workbook that you would get at the seminar. I've been studying from a few different text books but I used the ESP Physics for my SPI exam and passed it the first time and was hoping to have the same luck with my OB. Thanks,

Hi Nicole! I can be of some help having JUST taken my OB/GYN exam - and passed! I have to say, this was my second time...the first time I used the Pegasus OB/Gyn workbook - for me, it was overwhelming and very time consuming-it was just overload...I did refer back to it if I needed an indepth explanation, but I mostly studied the ESP book(and I had the flashcards too-which, I wouldn't waste my money on the flashcards..basically the same information that is in the book - you can write the information on notecards and save yourself $55). The ESP book basically gives you what you need to know - again, if I needed a more indepth explanation, I used the Pegasus book or simply looked on the internet(there is a great site out there Jim Baun...check it out). Also, test yourself constantly...that is what really drilled it into my head this time...last time, I did not go over questions as much...that Jim Baun site has questions as well...I studied those, as well as ESP. There is also a really good CD out there from Davies Publishing...lots of questions and gives you the same feel as taking the actual test-really good image library as well. Just know the brain well, the affects of diabetes, hypertension...waveforms for the ut and ov...just know it all, really...of course, not everything will sink in 100%...but as I now see...and what books will tell you...on those that you know right off the bat-GREAT! For those that you don't know...at least know what the wrong answers are...if that makes any sense. I am now studying for my Physics from ESP - good to hear you passed on the first try!! I hope I have the same luck... |

Hi Nicole and Patti! I would like to take my OB registry but do not have the time or resources to go to the Esp seminars. I was wondering if I could buy your ESP review book or a copy of your review book. Please let me know:) If so, I will send you my email and info |

I am a perinatal sonographer at Stanford Hospital in Calif looking to relocate to Tampa, Fl area. How difficult is it to find a perinatal ultrasound job there or OB-Gyn? Thanks for your help! |

Sorry, I am also relocating and not working at the moment. I have not attempted to look for any perinatal positions in the area. I dont think it would be a problem getting a job if you are registered. good luck!!! |

Somehow your e-mail to Nicole came to me by mistake. You might want to try to resend. Suzie |

I just passed the SPI, first try, with going to Esp seminar and have the book willing to trade for his Ob/Gyn book.but if you have the ob you most likely have the physics too. Looking see if anybody has his OB/Gyn book. JOann |
