The Bindra's are nothing else but a group of stinky Indian people...GOD how much he irritates me with that scarf around his neck acting like he is a god or something.

In short they are criminals who should be grabbed by the necks and brought to justice. I am currently part of the lawsuit and can't wait to go to court. Naveen and your filthy b.itch wife - I WILL GIVE YOU BACK MY DIPLOMA AND MY TRANSCRIPT AND YOU GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. IS THAT FAIR?

Regretting PCCTI in Oakbrook, Illinois

Taliban in Chicago???? Seriously, lol. I almost feel sorry for you that you have nothing better to with your time. Chances are you have probably been a reject your whole entire life who hides behind his computer screen. PCCTI is a scam. They mislead students and have BREECHED our contracts, therefore Naveen IS NOT honest of paper. Why do you think that there has been a CLASS-ACTION lawsuit filed against them, genius??? Luckily for me, I have a great clinical instructor and have more sense then majority of the RN's @ my clinical site. And btw, I did my research. Their LPN program is fairly new and when I registered there wasnt nearly as much feed-back available as there is now. The only thing "ghetto" about PCCTI is the admnistration staff. Such a sad, pathetic, worthless individual you are......but like you said-the truth hurts :) And I think the fact that you have to look at yourself everyday in the mirror is WAAAAAY more painful than losing out on $20,000-money can always be replaced. In any case, I dont think you have to be concerned about a medical professional from PCCTI EVER serving you, let alone ANY medical professional from anywhere.........they would have to "MENTALLY CHALLENGED" to make your sorry-excuse for existence a priority over anyone or ANYTHING else- including rabbits, dogs, & even all the sick little rats. On behalf of myself and everyone else on this forum, thank you for the humor relief we've gained from your previous postings. Keep 'em comming! We could all use a good laugh every now and then.

Nurses have a huge responsibility, and PCCTI is unable to prepare students to care for people. Hands down, graduates of this school aren't prepared to work in a hospital.

I went to college at Harper and to some other small schools offering some medical classes. Pccti is great with the medical assistant course they offer. My instructor has a wonderful method of teaching. We are learning so much, I also am looking forward to taking the exam to be certified with the NHA.
My class is small, so Its comfortable to have so much hands on experience in lab but also in theory during class. I was in larger classes that were so overwelming prior to this school.
Its a relief to recieve such great training for my career as a medical assistant. Other schools charge very large amount of tuition for the same skills I am obtaining with PCCTI.

Liza in Plainfield, Illinois said: I am a current student at PCCTI. Although the staff is less than helpful at times, the physican who teaches the course is GREAT, and that is what makes it worthwhile for me. Not only does he teach us the complicated material, he teaches us to be confident, as well. I have my B.A., and I have learned more the last 3 months than I ever did at the private university that I attended.
Although PCCTI is not the traditional junior college or university program, it is a vocational school. This is the nontraditional route for untraditional students who don't have the time or patience to take the traditional route. They told us at the beginning of the course that they will give us 125 clinical hours, but that we would have to get the rest ourselves, but that they would help us find places if we needed them to. There are other places to get your clinical hours besides hospitals, as a lot of songrams are done at private imaging clinics now. And most of the jobs that are out there require you to be a graduate of an ultrasound program (which PCCTI is) and requires you to be ELIGIBLE to be registered. This means that you have to have taken the coursework to become registered. Many places will give you a job without being certified. Yes, you need to study hard and take the test, but many jobs are looking at experience just as much as the actual certification.
I am not sorry I started PCCTI, and I hope I won't ever be! The best way to get answers is to talk to one of the doctors who actually teach the classes there. They will know the real and important answers. The staff is totally inept in answering questions, as most of us probably have more education than they do!

As someone who has looked extensively into sonography jobs and training programs, I can definitely say that you will not get hired if you do not attend a training program that will enable you to obtain the ARDMS credential.

MoveOn in Bloomingdale, Illinois said: It is really sad to see the level that all of you have gone to go against this school. The Bindra's are people. Human beings. Yes they run a business, but their hearts are in that school. Every dime that they are able to put back in that school for the better of the students comes out of their pockets. They don't get money from federal agencies or have resources to all these loans. They are a privately run organization and although many may not agree with how Mr. Bindra may handle certain situations, he is still an educated individual who believes in PCCTI as well as his wife and brother. They are going through the same problems that every other business big or small is going through in this economy. To put them through these ridiculous law suits isn't fair to them, and is a complete waste of your time.

Any lawyer that will go against a school and trying to get money out of it over nonsense complaints that with little to no validity is a crook in my opinion. All policies of that school are gone through before registering, and noone has ever held a gun to someone's hand and told them to register. You look at the pros of cons of any school and make an ADULT decision to register. Coming on here day after day and bad mouthing them, doing law suits against them, will be a complete waste of your time. Many of these lawsuits will be thrown away and not looked at again twice, because they are baseless, and the school is covered. There is paperwork that everyone has signed and policies that have been in place for years.
Response:
For the amount of money that PCCTI charges people and the time that people commit to taking classes and trying to make a positive change it their lives, asking them to walk away without a fight is irresponsible. This is serious and if they are not providing what they tell people they are going to, then they should be shut down.

I have been reading these posts for a while.
1. You should always research the program requirements- no matter what an employee of a school tells you. PCCTI is not the only for profit school that has a very high turnover. Employees have sales goals, and if they have only been there for 2 weeks what do you expect? Also their full class offering and requirement for the DMS program is on their website- how hard is it to cross check with employment guidelines.
2. This lawsuit seems to be baseless, after reading the lawsuit... it states that PCCTI guaranteed employment- it did not- look at their website, apparently they posted employment assistance... guess what? ALL schools do. Do you think I have a right to sue my university if I did not get a job after a degree?
How dumb are these students??
As for Naveen- I hate the man with a passion. And he should be taken to court, but have some personal responsibility!

To add- the clinical experience- if the school refuses to disclose clinical sites you should run the other way (and most will).

It was a bad experience. I had my hopes up for a medical assisting class that it would be a great learning experience. No...the instructor was terrible. You might as well take an online course or read the book yourself. He made crude, ignorant remarks at his students during clinicals. I wondered if this man was ever a true instructor. The school is shady, very odd. They only want your money. Thats when they will sit down and talk to you. Otherwise, your history. I wasted $5000 dollars here. Don't ever make the same mistake I did. Go to Dupage or Harper College. They need to be shut down. The class action suit is for real. I think they deserve it.

Does anyone know anything about the citi college of allied health in chicago,on lasalle st. Sonography program? They say they are accredited by NCA and it's a 18 month diploma program w/clinicals. I believe once finished with the program you can get your ARRT. which I guess you then can get register with ARDMS. Can anyone help me understand?

Nope---not accredited. Flat out lying to you. The only accreditation you need to look for is CAAHEP accreditation. Check the CAAHEP website for accredited ultrasound programs. And ARRT accreditation is for radiology not sonography. You can not get an ARRT license from a sonography program. You can become registered in sonography once you are an R.T. but you start out in radiography first! And notice there are not any fly by night XRAY programs out there and that's because radiation is regulated by the state. So this school is full of it!!!

If you call and directly ask them if they are CAAHEP accredited for diagnostic sonography they have to tell you no. They may try to dance around the question and say they are not as of yet but they are CCI accredited but they are not for what you are looking for. Once you become an RT with (ARRT), you become eligible to take the ARDMS boards if you can get a doctor to sign off on 12 months training you and document cases you've done or seen. This is almost impossible!!!! If you want to go into ultrasound go directly to an accredited CAAHEP program. www.caahep.org/Find-An-Accredited-Program/

CCI does not require that you go to an accredited school. They require clinical experience in cardio/vascular and you will have to take the Cardiovascular Science Exam along with a specialty exam if you did not go to an accredited school. Very soon the Cardiovascular Science Exam is going to be combined into one test along with the echo and/or vascular specialty exams.

Even with your Master's degree, you still need a physician or RDMS sonographer to sign off on you---meaning you need to document one year full time experience with a certain number of hours. This is not easy to do or to get a place to allow you to do this. Stay away from unaccredited schools.

getting tired of the run around in Elk Grove Village, Illinois

Has anyone had issues with the financial aid end of things with this school. My loan was disbursed to them over a month ago, before I was even officially enrolled, and still has not been returned to the bank. I keep getting the run around between Joanne and Malveka that my loan is being returned on such and such date. As of today, and 3 promises of return dates, it still has not been returned. This is getting old very fast!

PCCTI IS HORRIBLE! said: The staff at PCCTI passes the blame off to everyone else, if they do give you clinicals they are going to send you to far away from where you live (which is really not the problem) but into neighborhoods that they would not enter themselves. I am really fed up with this so called school, paid a lot of money to go there with promises that I should have known were not true. But when someone guarantees something you tend to believe them. I held up my end of the agreement, I took their classes, I went everday, was never late, and had an A the whole way through. It is there turn to hold up to their end which they are certainly failing to do. I may be in contact with the lawyer, Please anyone who is planning to go there for anything do not do it, just put in the hours of study and go to a CAAHEP accredited school. This place is just a waste of space, time, and money.

Rachie4 in Chicago, Illinois said: As a former " admissions rep" of PCCTI, I urge anyone thinking about attending this "school" to reconsider. The owners, a family from India, are completely out of touch with the U.S. health care job market.

They promise prospective students a promising, stable career in the health care field; when their programs hardly prepare students for the job market. They hire instructors with no experience with the minimum teaching credentials required by the state, and could care less if students come out of the class unprepared to take their certification exams- as long as they get their money. Please, find another school. PCCTI is not only a scam but also going to take your money and give you nothing in return. Educating students is their absolute last priority. As a former employee whose job it was to place students in internships, I can tell you that the majority of medical facilities I contacted in regard to the matter either hung up on me after hearing "PCCTI" or told me that they had heard about the poor reputation of the school (ex: students showing up on drugs, unshowered, smelling of cigarettes, acting unprofessional, etc.)
If your goal is to become a successful health care professional, I suggest you obtain your education elsewhere.

can you email me at joliet25@yahoo.com so we can talk privately about this school.

Hey all current or previous students at PCCTI,
I took the DMS course in pccti. I did alot of research at the time and knew all about the different aspect of the field. I was very disappointed with the teacher we had at first. If we read the chapter of the book, we knew more then her. She was a low class woman. She told us she is pushing off teaching us physics because she doesn't know it. Some teacher. Either way, the students got her fired mid year and our next teacher was a Dr. who was very well educated and in fact a fantastic teacher. But we had lost a lot of time with the first teacher. After "graduating" I kept calling the school for about half a year till they finally gave me clinicals. My clinical taught me a lot and I continued to persevere and teach myself many parts of ultrasound. Thank g-d after many interviews I finally got my first job. It was an awful job but gave me the training I badly needed, because the school did not train me at all. I went on to another job that I have been working in for about a year now. I am attempting to take the cci (that is if I am even eligible with Pccti being the school I went to). I just want to tell you all out there what my second teacher told us at PCCTI. He said, "someone who really wants it, you'll get there". As a class we were so frustrated with the staff. We felt cheated, scammed, and lied to. Our teacher sympathized with us, but he believed in us. He saw we were passionate and had our minds focused. Therefore he gave us that valuable lesson. After reading some of your posts, I see that many of you are passionate about your careers. Don't let a school like Pccti get in your way. Find another path to your goal, it may not be easy but it's well worth it. It is not fair to yourself otherwise. I spent many days and nights thinking I'll never get a job, bla bla, bla..but i did. I do agree that people should fight to get their back. If I had the energy I would be fighting for it to. Good l

sonographer in Chicago, Illinois said: I am quite alarmed at seeing this article.
I finished my course with PCCTI in 2007.
Since then I have been working with a major hospital as a Ultrasound Technician.
I did not even do any external clinicals. I got 125 hours of internal clinical, where a qualified Ultrasound Tech came and created real work environment with real patients.
That did the trick for me. At the time of interview when they made me scan, I stood out because of my internal internship..

Like any other school PCCTI has it's great things and not so great things.

People who write these negative comments are nothing but losers, who believe more in negativity and blame game.

Even if you do a course thru Trident or any college , they don't entertain you if you don't get a job.

It depends upon you how much you can get from the school and how much hard work you put.

You can either be a loser and put the blame on your school or be a winner by working hard and extracting the best out of the school.

For all people , go to the school and then decide yourself.

CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE DO YOU WORK PLEASE?

PCCTI'S nursing program!!! ----This is the worst place to go to for a nursing program. It's expensive and all they want is your money! They make false clams stating they will work with you when your grades start to go down which is a lie. The teachers that work there and are hired there do not know how to actually teach a class room and are completely new right out of college. The nursing home they have for clinical are disgusting and there never is enough equipment for the students to train with in class. You have to email back and forth to get any type of answers from the administration and most of the time they do not reply back unless you threaten to stop payment on tuition. The girls that work in the Oakbrook location are so rude its just disgusting how you are treated. WORST PLACE BY FAR TO TAKE A NURSING CLASS!
