Amanda in Carlsbad, California said: So I just took my ABD test for the first time today and passed. Thank God. Tips to know. I had a lot of ABD vascular. They would show a waveform and then ask which vessel it was so brush up on that. Lots of Liver of course. Schistosomiasis couple questions on that. I did have a couple musculoskeletal too which I wasn't expecting (Ganglion cyst and Bakers cyst) Good Luck to anyone taking it. It is a little tough. THANK u for the tip, actually as we speak i am studying Abdominal Vasc., i Failed (w 500)"Sad face" 4 weeks ago (because of Abd Vasculiture) I didn't think i was going to get soo many Questions of that. Its funny how something Hits you when you least expected it.

Its funny how something Hits you when you least expected it. I just had the traditional Chronic pancreatitis and acute. I am sure you know by now. Echogenic for chronic and small and hypo and large for acute. I had a question about large seminal vesicle cysts and what congenital renal anomaly they are associated with. I got it wrong but I did look it up after and I believe it is Renal Agenesis. I am not sure if that was an anwser though. I did get a spleen image and it was an infarct that I am pretty sure of. I wish I could remember more helpful stuff. Sorry. I did take the ARDMS practice test the day before my exam to ensure I was prepared enough and to get over the nerves. I did well. 30 questions for $25. I found it to be a great indicator of how I did on my real exam. |

Hematoma in the most common in spleen so I think if all else fails go with that. We could be talking about 2 different questions. Just know that in portal hypertension the RPV and LPV become hepatofugal and it is not abnormal. Whats U.B? I feel silly that I don't know. Remember lesser sac for pancreatitis and caput medusa for collaterals around the umbilicus. As far as Vascular like Carotid stenosis. No I did not have any ?'s on those. Know relational anatomy of the panc. Schistosomiasis the the most common non cirrotic worldwide. |

Yes. I did have a uterocele question and it was associated with a complete duplicating system. Gi I just got appendix. But it was tricky beacause the measurement they showed me was WNL. So make sure you know the normal sizes. I had a question about a hernia but I just know peristalsis so I know is was. That is all a really remember about that. Remember fusiform (bulge in distal Ao)is the most common aneurysm and it is a big deal if it affects the Renal arts. I went through my school books and made sure I understood the pics. |
