Hello there, all!
I appreciate everyone's wonderful advice and help on here. It's great that this is available. Does anyone know if there are tutors available for Ultrasound Physics in the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor, MI area????? I'm really feeling like I need some one on one help, rather than just the books, notes, etc. I did not pass my Physics exam the first time. ;( Now, I have to take the new version of the Physics exam in June. If any of you have any kind of info or advice on this, please let me know!!!!! Thanks so much!!!

I went to the seminar from Pegasus lectures- VERY helpful. Frank Miele is very knowledgeable and a very good teacher (he designs ultrasound machines). They guarantee you pass or you can re-take the class for free. I actually understood the material instead of just memorizing (which doesn't work for Physics, by the way). I learned more in 3 days at the seminar than in school. I was blown away at how easy he made Physics. Lots of people from Eddelman's seminars came to Miele's because they've continually failed it. He's a little expensive (they offer student discounts) and it includes the 2 volume text book(don't get intimidated by the 2 volumes, they're thin, easy to read and understand) but I think it's worth it to pass and not have to worry about ever again. You still have to study, don't expect to pass by just attending the seminar. They also offer discounts on future seminars once you've attended one. I have notes if anyone's interested; just give me your email.

I'm taking Abd end of January 2009. Any suggestions or hints? Thanks!

Have you tried the Davies Q& A review? I faild abd the frist time with 538 and passed with 614 second time. When i used Davies (2nd time) a lot of the questions were very similar to the ones that ended up on my test. U should give it a try...

There is no need to be hopeless, there are many companies like Tutorskingdom or Transweb etc that offer online help specifically designed to tackle your weak points at very low cost. The main advantage is that after being member of these companies, you get unlimited anytime access to online question bank that help you assess your preparation and to identify any left out void.

Theres a really great mock registry software that just came out. I tried it and it helped me tremendously. Its called RITE Advantage Ultrasound Physics. (You can find it on www.riteadvantage.com)
Its about 600 questions and it covers all the topics seen on the ARDMS outline. I liked it because it is very similar to the actual registry in that you can mark answers for further review and such. Plus it gives great explanations if you were to miss a question.
I would definitely recommend it.

Hey thanks for the good advice and feedback... always appreciated from all you guys!!!! Please keep it coming!!! :0) I'm trying to prepare for my SPI exam now. OY!!! Have a tutor lined up and everything. Didn't quite pass it the other time and now I have to take the "new" physics exam soon. I'm nervous! But, I'm thinking positive.
