How did you get your start doing unarmed security guard work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position?

Do you need a particular educational background?

Unarmed security guard does not need specific education background or training. To be an armed security guard you need to get license after getting training. If you get license then you can also be an unarmed easily.

To be an unarmed guard you will need to attend training and submit to a live scan check.

EXCEPTION is in house security. Like target, if you work as an internal security you usually don't need a permit.
