I studied economics (more on the social side of the subject) in undergrad (along with photography). I've been working in architectural photography for the past 4 years, but am considering going back to get a masters in urban planning. What do people who are working in this field think of this? Is it a wise decision to get into this field now? Any recommended programs in New York? Any thoughts would help...

Although i jst finish my undergrad degree in Urban Planning now, i think it is wise bcoz urban planning is a multi-deciplinary field where one cn really enjoy, since u hv done econmics and work in architectoral side u cn do ur masters in planning and become an economic planner, urban designer, etc.

If you want to go into planning, you really must have excellent writing skills. Clearly that is not your forte as your spelling and sentence structure are very weak. I suggest you take some basic English and writing courses to strengthen those skills.
