I was looking at the requirements for people who are accepted into the local college's tech program. It says everyone has to get a rabies pre-exposure vaccination. If I'm going to be just an assistant at a vet clinic, will I be required to get this vaccination? If so, who pays, who does it, and what part of the body is it given in?

It is recommended that ALL veterinary techs and assistants be vaccinated against rabies. However, whether it will be required for you or not and who pays for it will be completely up to your future employers. Some require it and pay for it, others don't.
