Considering in Reading, Pennsylvania

I am wondering what type of pay I could expect if working administration within a vet office? How difficult would it be to reach a salary of 38-40k (17-18hr) in my area? Also, would an insurance background be of any benefit in a vet hospital setting? I have extensive background in insurance/finance. This has always been my dream (vet work), but reality sort of pulled me into the corporate world due to salaries. I am ready for the change. But absolutely have to be able to support myself financially.
