Implementation Professional- Lenexa, KS

I am an Executive Recruiter looking for an Implementation Specialist in Lenexa, KS for a good client of mine. My Client is a 20 year old 100% debt free software company with over 700 installations of their software, hardware, and services. Their customers implemented a centralized payment engine to drive commerce and they added electronic credit card and e-check payment options for their clients as a result, they process payments more effectively and efficiently, including payments made over the web, by telephone, and in person. Furthermore, they streamlined billing procedures, automated cashiering operations, developed and managed electronic storefronts, and enhanced self-service access to vital information and have made it easier for constituents to do business with them. They are recognized as the leader in electronic commerce systems, helping customers improve productivity and lower the costs of accepting payments online, in-line, over the phone, and through the mail.

Position Responsibilities:
An Implementation Specialist is the project manager responsible for the implementation of proprietary commerce products at colleges and universities throughout the US and Canada. They are responsible for project planning, software installation, and customer training of their technologies into successful production with their customers. The successful candidate will have a BS/BA in Computer Science, or equivalent, strong interpersonal skills, an aptitude for technology, demonstrated experience in managing technology projects, an understanding of business processes, and enjoy travel up to 25%. Experience working with Windows, Unix, Linux, databases, and web server applications is a plus.

Required Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree, prefer in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related
1-2 years software implementation experience
