What is the best training for becoming a vocational rehabilitation counselor? What types of ongoing training or certifications are necessary to be an effective vocational rehabilitation counselor?

What do non-traditional career paths look like?

I can answer part of your question. Non-traditional career paths can include but are not limited to the following: rehabilitation therapist, mental health/family/individual/group therapist, social work, some type of general counselor or case manager position, and forensic rehabilitation. Traditional career paths can include: working for state DVR, Workers Comp Private Rehab. I am looking for a job with state DVR because I like the job security and benefits. I don't want to give my name but if you want more information, you can email me at lorraine_us@yahoo.com.

You have to complete a practicum and an internship in order to get the degree. You have to take the Certified Rehabilitation Counselor exam and pass. It really opens up doors for you. If you want to be a specialist in Reemployment Services (private sector rehab), you need to become a Qualified Rehabilitation Provider.

Dear,Sir i was intimidated by your secretary when i ask her for you to contact me concerning an appointment i had made with you earlier this week. And she flat out denied that i could speak to you. This has made me quite angry because i want to start course work at miami dade community college this semester.

If denied the right to an education because of this womans actions and a counselor named Evens Millien i will contact the ADA for an investigation and file a class action lawsuit.I trust that you will acknowledge want i have written and will take some action on my behalf. PH:(786)-897-0943

Sincerly yours,

Robert Daniel.

What does your requirement scale of one to three in the order of most urgent mean? In other words what does one stand for? What does two stand for? What does three stand for? My case is urgent. Which Number would apply to me?

Thanks much.
