I work at a Texas café where a tip sharing policy is in place, and you can not opt out of it. The employers collect the tips from a tip jar and count it themselves and hold it until payday. There is no paperwork or reports that we are given to let us know how much was paid in tips. We ask and are given a vague answer. The employer also tells the new waitress's that they can next make over 12 dollars an hour. Is this legal?
