SCOPE OF SERVICES

Candidates will be responsible for leading the design review efforts and recommendations, documenting, establishing methodologies/protocols for on-going operational support and future maintenance and upgrades. Responsibilities include but are not limited to hands-on administration and maintenance of a large IBM WebSphere deployment in a mission critical production environment. The candidates must have a minimum of eight (8) years overall architecture design and hands-on working knowledge with all aspects of the IBM WebSphere product line. Candidates must have excellent understanding of the various data formats and data transformation. Extensive experience, working knowledge of web application development software components related to Web Services, J2EE, Servlets, JSP**s, HTML, XML, and JAVA and knowledge of relational databases such as DB2, and Oracle

Experience managing Large WebSphere deployments in a highly visible production environment.
Experience managing WebSphere application server network deployment v6 on P-Series / AIX Platforms.
System performance tuning and monitoring.
System configuration maintenance (e.g. JDBC connection maintenance, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) connection maintenance and application connectivity support.)
Experience with Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE)
Experience with IBM HTTP Server
Experience with DB2 v8
Experience with WebSphere MQ v6
Large UNIX infrastructure migration experience preferred.
Must have expert knowledge of:
Unix AIX versions 5x
