Position: OLAP Datawarehousing Report Developer

This is someone who loves data, loves to report on data and loves to mine data. The specific tools they use are not as important as their ability to extract, transform, load (ETL) as well as create, design and build reports.

Experience developing executive dash boards

This is not a "toolsmith" as defined as someone who is married to one specific tool such as Cognos or Bus Objects.

The shop uses lots of Open Source tools and is looking at a variety of those as well...They have evaluated Jaspersoft an Open Source Business Intelligence Platform for deploying open source reporting, analysis and data integration tools utilizing J2EE, Java open standards.

They currently use Cognos against an MS SQLServer database environment . Inherent to SQL Server are a variety of ETL tools which they are currently using as well.
