What skills should you learn to increase your salary?
Wachovia paid about $45k for this position but you would have had to get a series of licenses. Wachovia would pay for it. It is hard to get into that position though. I never heard our top sales person discuss her salary. She would just boast how she does not work Friday's. I would guess she made somewhere between $60k and $80k annually. Keep in mind that she has been with the company so long that she is retiring this year with pension.
The best thing to have when entering this field would be a strong client base. You will not get this from the company no matter what they tell you. It is best to have your own. Lastly, you have to be able to tell yourself that the products you sell are beneficial... (you'll see).
