How realistic is it to try to write children's books. Is it like winning the lottery to get published & best to be kept as a side hobbie? Does anyone have any tips on how to start, like the best place to go to get a book copywrited? Seems like there are so many books & websites of people just trying to make $ from people interested in this field.

Try to relate your story to children of the certain age group. Go to stores like Barnes&Noble and ask where the closest place would be to get published. Or at least have someone check your story out. Hope this helped! xx
