Ive been a limited tech for 7 years and went to a school for MRI. After i graduated i had such a hard time finding a job. Its been two years now and im still working as a limited tech and paying of a loan for the mri course for nothing.

The answer is yes! You have to go back to school and become an RT (R) ARRT to take the MRI registry!

Basically going to school for MRI means nothing.
Unless you actually have experience on the scanner your not considered trained.
As of october of this year any tech that is not MRI certified all the major insurances will not pay.
Most of the major medical centers will not even consider hiring any one right now that is not MRI certfied.
