what are the first steps I should be taking in order to become a certified yoga instuctor?

Check out the website for Yoga Alliance. You can do a google search and it will come up. It has a bunch of info on there.

hi, i'm a member of the yoga alliance @500/hr but of course i've taught millions of hours -
thankx 4 info anyway -
what r u up 2?

in order to become a yoga instructor u need 2 go 2 school and study (get certified and registered thru the yoga alliance) - look in your area 4 a good school that teaches/certifies or a 2 yr. college - u'll make it if u luv it - where do u LIVE?

i'm from delaware...how long did it take you to go through the course training. any colleges you can recommend for the course training. if you don't mind me asking but how expensive was it for you to become certified? thanks for your input. i hope you holla back!!!!

to my delaware friend - i spent 2 years studying eastern medicine with emphasis on yoga/pilates - went to jefferson medical school in philadelphia over 20 years ago - cost a lot back then, not sure now, anyway if u want/need more info let me know
