What causes do people in Akron care about. Where are the volunteer opportunities?

On behalf of Firestone Stadium and the Akron Racers, I am asking for volunteers for the 2009 PONY (Protect Our Nations Youth) Softball Tournament which will be held on July 26 – August 1. The use of community volunteers would greatly assist in making the event a success.

As many games will be played in surrounding area fields throughout the course of the tournament, upkeep of the fields in between games will need to be carried out. Free staff t-shirts will be provided for volunteers and refreshments will be made available.
