Been out of work for nine months (other than some freelance jobs here and there). I'm looking for fulltime writing or editing jobs, but have had little interest from prospective employers. I worked at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in those capacities for more than 20 years, but that often doesn't get me past the initial step of sending resume, cover and work samples.

My severance is about to run out so I'm getting pretty concerned. I offer top-shelf writing and editing, adaptability to changes in technology and style, staff management of as many as 10 direct-reports and intuitive problem-solving. I love to write features and how-tos, but can conform to nearly any topic.

I'm looking for any help with job leads or general suggestions. Thanks.
