Moving to Atlantic City - how did you get here?

Where did you come from? How did you move here? What would you do different now?

I came from Philly and got here by car, 30 years ago. What I would do different is shoot myself in the friken head and allow my brains to splatter all over the wall before I would even think of coming to a <Edited by Host> town like Atlantic City.
To anyone thinking this would be a great place to come, live and work. Stay the <Edited by Host> where you are or go to some other city or town because "AC IS NOT THE PLACE TO BE".
I like that. Instead of the motto "the City That's Always Turned On", I like it to be; "AC, THE CITY WHERE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE".

Why exactly. My 19year old is thinking about it.

why exactly is it that bad? How is for a 20year old?

I'm thinking of moving down there too. My ex boyfriend used to live in Ventnor, which is really nice but it's a lot more expensive in Atlantic City. There is definitely crime in A.C and I know a lot of people warn about moving to certain streets because they're more dangerous to others.
